Middle Layer:
Inner Layer:
kg/m²:

Enter the glass sizes to be used

Width: mm
Height: mm
Total Weight: kg

How to Use the Calculator?

To find out the weight of your single, insulated double, or triple glazing units, first select the thicknesses of the glass layers. Then, enter the width and height of the glass in millimeters. This calculator is only valid for rectangular and square-shaped glass.

If your glass is not a triple-glazed unit, please select "None" in the "Middle Layer" menu. If your glass consists of only a single layer, you should select "None" in both the "Middle Layer" and "Inner Layer" menus.

Why is Glass Weight Important?

Accurately calculating glass weight is of critical importance, especially in architectural and engineering projects. The supporting structure of facade systems is designed based on the total weight of the glass. Incorrect calculations can lead to structural safety risks. Furthermore, glass weight is a determining factor in planning logistical processes such as transportation, installation, and crane operations.
